By the way, "Malyi" literally translates as Small and is the composer`s Second name. In fact, Dmytro is already an adult and handsome man. Several years ago he even defended his dissertation, and for three years in a row, he has won prizes at international and Ukrainian national composers competitions, in the United States, in Kharkiv and in Vienna.
Doing some simple math, we can speculate that every year the composer finishes about 1,1666… pieces because by the age of 35 he has created about 30 works of various genres and instrumental settings.
Today, the artist is still looking for himself among a variety of compositional techniques and tries to work with something unusual from his previous experience. The main thing for him in creating music is to clearly determine all the means of expression in the musical text.
